But in 2008, while most were licking their wounds from the financial crisis, Joshwa pivoted—launching a consulting business that helped multi-million-dollar companies with internal audits, financial strategies, credit repair, and capital funding to fuel their growth.

In 2017, sensing the shift in finance, he founded a regulated OTC crypto company, making it easier for hundreds of investors to move between Bitcoin, real estate, and other cash-flowing assets. When the big players started muscling in, Joshwa—always a step ahead—became a certified tax planner and founded Obsidian Wealth Management, dba DoWhatTheWealthyDo.com. After working behind the scenes with the ultra-wealthy, he cracked the code on how they pay little to no taxes, rapidly build their wealth, and protect their assets. Now, he’s bringing those strategies to small and medium-sized business owners, helping them accelerate mortgage payoffs, slash tax burdens, and secure their financial futures.

By 2025, demand from investors and homeowners alike led Joshwa to launch DragonGlass Capital, LLC, dba Mortgage Alchemists, taking his mission a step further—helping clients turn real estate into a powerful wealth-building machine. As a licensed mortgage broker, tax planner, and expert in asset protection and estate planning, he’s redefining what it means to buy a home—helping clients save on taxes, grow their wealth, and accelerate their mortgage payoff *without making extra payments*.
